Bryony is a Postgraduate-qualified executive coach and an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. Before training with Barefoot Coaching, she spent some 20 years’ in PR and marketing, including 12 years running her own successful consultancy with clients across Europe and South America. Learning the hard way to juggle her business activities with her roles as a wife, mother of two and carer has played an essential role in developing her coaching style – and her sense of humour!

Bryony coaches teams and senior leaders within large multinational corporations as a member of The Preston Associates. Through Proven Coaching she prefers to work with SMEs and self-funding individuals, bringing not only a strong sense of fulfillment but also balance to her coaching portfolio.

She has extensive drinks sector knowledge from working with blue chip clients including Martell Mumm & Perrier-Jouët, Beringer Blass, Pernod Ricard and Moët Hennessy and is a well-known figure within the international drinks industry. She co-founded and organised three International Sparkling Wine Symposia and joined forces with one of the world’s leading champagne critics to establish the world’s most prestigious sparkling wine competition, the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships.

In addition to coaching in the drinks industry, Bryony now works across a full range of sectors including food, technology, marketing communications, education and a wide range of entrepreneurs!

Bryony strongly believes in encouraging community and creativity at all levels and has held various roles in the voluntary and public sectors. Since 2013 she has been a non-executive director of Watershed, Bristol’s ground breaking cross-artform venue and producer.

After living in central Bristol for more than 20 years, Bryony moved to rural Monmouthshire in 2013 with her husband and two teenage children and now relishes the feeling of going home to enjoy the horizon and expanse of sky after a busy day’s coaching!
